Audiovisual on ‘Esteles’ (Led Steles), an interactive installation that visualizes pedestrians paths/actions in a public space by proposing a reflection on the interaction between people and public space.
14 infrared sensors detect people passing by, codifying the information into a wall with 80 handmade led’s lights, embedded in resin. All control is done by installing a Peggy2.1 motherboard programmed with Arduino.
‘Esteles’ won the 1st prize in Public Project 2008 and has been produced by artAtTheLab at Anne Frank square, in the Gracia district, Barcelona.
Audiovisual realized by Xavier Satorra, Enric Recoder, Teresa Duran and Sakari Laurila in 2009.
