Two rising stars of Kurdish music meet in London for a unique concert focusing on Alevi, Kurdish and Dersim music, with traditional songs accompanied using both traditional and modern techniques. Described as a new star of Kurdish music, Aynur sings in the Kurmanji, Zazaki and Sorani dialects of Kurdish and has already performed throughout Europe, North America and Asia. Mikail Aslan, who sings in the Zazaki dialect of Kurdish, founded his ensemble in 2002 to expand his traditional musical style by using jazz elements.
